Tradition & Targets: Country Pursuits (Full-Day)

Classic Country Pursuits for a Competitive day of Shooting and Driving!

Full day option

Example event:

• 9.30 am: You and your team will arrive at our purpose-built corporate event centre and will be welcomed into our comfortable clubhouse with unlimited tea or coffee. (Bacon rolls can be arranged on booking as extra - see our menu.) 
• 10.00 am: Once everyone has arrived you'll be arranged into teams and a short safety briefing will be given by your event manager.
• 10.10 am: Teams will then be sent out for the activites and will spend 45 - 60 minutes on each activity (depending how much time is available).
• 12.30 pm: At lunchtime, after three activities have been completed, a BBQ or hot meal is served (depending on the time of year).
• 4.00 pm: Once the teams have completed the afternoon’s activities they return to the clubhouse for refreshments.
• 4.30 pm. The scores are announced and a bottle of Champagne is presented to the winning team.

Times can easily to adjusted to fit in with your requirements.

Activities

The full-day event will include all of the following activities:

Clay Shooting

Guests will shoot approximately 20 clays each from a variety of stands including ‘rabbits’, driven and going away targets, using browning 12 grams or 20 grams (for the ladies), over and under shotguns as well as low recoil ammunition.

All participants receive instruction and supervision from one of our qualified Clay Pigeon Shooting Association Coaches. Most people who shoot will usually hit more than 50% so it's great fun for all!

Archery

Archery events are great fun and unlike the clays, you can see where it went if you miss!

At Adventure Sports you can shoot at Olympic sized targets from 20 metres with recurve longbows whilst under the guidance of our experienced instructors.

This event will really hit the spot! 

Pistol & Rifle Range

On our pistol range in Warwickshire you will shoot with Crossman CO2 pistols on our 7 metre range.

First you will practice and refine your skills and then we'll put you all into a competition.

We also use Weirauch air rifles fitted with telescopic sights on knock-down and explosive targets!

4x4 off-road driving experience

You and your team will take it in turns to drive one of our fully equipped Landrover Discoveries.

Assisted by an experienced instructor, you will navigate around our purpose-built off-road course negotiating steep hills, side slopes, water and yes, you guessed it, lots more mud! Our vehicles can carry the driver, instructor and three terrified passengers at any one time!

Are you ready for the mud? 

Quad Bikes

High adrenaline outdoor exploring on four wheels!

Each of your team members will ride their own Honda 250 Fourtrax quad bike around our challenging 100 acres terrain in on our Warwickshire adventure park.

You will be trekking over hills, through mud, around trees, through water and even more mud! The trek is led by one of our experienced and fully qualified instructors. (Maximum team size 6.)

Argocat

The Argocat is our brilliant amphibious six-wheel drive ‘go anywhere’ machine.

You and your team members will be assisted by one of our experienced instructors and drive around our purpose-built course with water splashes, hills and lots more mud!

This is a fun and very messy event! 

Cost

£135 + vat per person which includes:

• Tea, coffee, soft drinks

Group size 6 to 42 (Ideally 6 people per team if possible.) Bigger groups are possible, but do contact the office for details.

• Overalls - a great way to keep your guests warm and mud proofed! £3.50.
• Bacon Rolls on arrival - a great way to start the day. £4.30.
