Mud & Mayhem Terms & Conditions

The following advice, terms and conditions apply to Mud & Mayhem sessions at Adventure Sports, Warwick.

Payment

• Payment in full is required at least ten days before the event date.
• Payment can be made:  
  • Online (using the link on the confirmation email)
  • Over the phone (using Visa, MasterCard or American Express)
  • Please do ask for a VAT invoice if you require one.
• The payment is non-refundable apart from in the following circumstances:  
• If any changes are made (for example a reduction in numbers) we can refund the payment but only if we are notified at least ten days before the date event.
• The event is cancelled by Adventure Sports due to extreme weather conditions. Adventure Sports will attempt to contact the group organiser provided that we have the correct contact details.
• Refunds will be made on the next working day.

• Paying for the event confirms that the Event Organsier accepts and agrees to all of the Terms and Conditions mentioned on this page and confirms that the Event Day Advice has been issued to all of the participants in advance.

Event Day Advice

Ensure that all participants are informed and aware of the following:

Arrival Time

Arrive 10 minutes before the agreed event start time. If guests arrive too early they may interrupt another group. Late arrivals may not be able to participate in certain activities as there may not be sufficient time to go through the required safety briefings for a second time.

Upon Arrival

When all of the participants have arrived our Event Manger will welcome the guests and explain the format for the event. Participants will be required to fill in a form prior to taking part to acknowledge they: 

• Are aware of the potential risks involved.
• Confirm they are physically and mentally fit.
• Will follow the instructions given by the instructor.
• Over 16 years old.

 

Clothing Advice

The correct clothing is really important! Take note of the following advice:

• You may get muddy (depending on weather and ground conditions). Please bring suitable footwear and clothing you don’t mind getting wet or muddy.
• Walking boots are ideal. Wellies are suitable if very wet. Trainers can also be worn, but they may become muddy. No sandals / flip flops / open toed shoes.
• A waterproof jacket is advisable if rain is forecast (it may get muddy).
• Gloves – useful on a cold day (we will provide gloves)
• If you don't have any suitable clothing you can hire some overalls at £3.50 per set.
• Adventure Sports will provide any safety equipment required for the activities.
• Every participant is required to wear a crash helmet for each activity - NO EXCEPTIONS (we will provide crash helmets but you are welcome to bringyour own too).

Parking

There is plenty of parking available on-site.

Public Transport

The closest train stations are Warwick Parkway (5 min. taxi journey away) or Warwick Town (8 min. taxi journey).

Terms and Conditions

• Every effort is made to ensure mechanical reliability. In the event of a breakdown another activity may be offered at the instructor’s discretion.
• In the case of intentional damage to property, Adventure Sports will pursue those responsible for compensation. 
• Adventure Sports reserves the right to terminate the session in respect to individuals or groups, if that individual or group is taking part in an unsafe or dangerous manor likely to cause injury or damage to themselves or others, equipment or property.
• No one under, or suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be allowed to take part in the event.
• It is the responsibility of any participant to inform the instructor if they have any illness, disability or injury.
• Adventure Sports Ltd. is not liable to any losses or damage to clothing, footwear or personal effects.

Directions to Adventure Sports

From the M40 junction 15, take the A46 north (towards Coventry). Take the 1st exit (approx 2 miles) signed Solihull A4177 and Warwick A425. At the top of the slip road turn right at the roundabout towards Warwick.

Travel ¼ mile to a small roundabout and turn left onto Wedgnock Lane.

After ½ mile turn left into a small road opposite the Volvo building (look for flagpoles on the right) and follow the Adventure Sports signs for ½ mile.

When on-site follow signs for 'Outdoor Activity Centre'. These will take you passed the large climbing wall and to the Clubhouse.
